Market Place East from left to right - the Crown Hotel, W H Harrison Printer and Stationary and a partial view of the Unicorn Hotel. The Crown Hotel closed two years after the photo was taken and became Croft and Blackburn motor works in 1908. In 1977 it was converted to the supermarket ,Morrisons, and in 2018 is Sainsburys. The wooden Crown Inn sign has survived and is installed inside the rear entrance of Sainsburys. Harrisons shop is in 2018 The Works and the Unicorn Hotel survives, now owned by Weatherspoons.
