Viewed from the junction of Bondgate and Dallamires Lane, the house, which dates from the 17th century and was substantially altered in the 19th, is rendered and has a slate roof and ornamental barge boards. The brick boundary wall with curved corner is lowered on the Bondgate elevation to accommodate iron railings and afford a view.
