A snowy scene showing the old wooden Alma footbridge across the River Skell. On the opposite side of the river is what would then have been Skellfield School - now Alma House. This was the third bridge on this site. The first two had only 2 rails, this has 4 rails, however, it still incorporates the passing place halfway along. The lamp post at the far end of the bridge remains.
