Previous information noted that the cafe, owned by S Bailey, stood at the north end of North Bridge, conveniently placed for passengers to the nearby railway station. However new information indicates that the café may have been located on Borrage Bridge. We will continue to research to find a definitive answer. The picture was produced as a commercial postcard, and several still exist with postmarks of 1916.
