Holy Trinity Church, with its broach spire, was designed by Leeds architect Thomas Taylor and erected in 1826-27 in memory of a local doctor Thomas Kilvington. The image is looking up Kirkby Road from the junction of Church Lane and Trinity Lane. Children play in the middle of the road. The caption 'Ripon - Trinity Church & Vicarage'is erroneous - the vicarage is not shown and is further north.
