SS Hill Printers and Stationers shop with 4 of the staff in the doorway. Above the shop sign is the signage for the Gazette Office, also located on the Market Square at the time. From 1927 this was the site of footwear retailers, firstly the Public Benefit Boot Company, then Mansfield Shoes, and later Curtis Shoes before becoming aMaynards sweet ship. Cancer Research UK occupies the premises in 2018.
