A favourite place for bathers to enjoy a swim in the River Ure, just upstream from North Bridge, in an area that used to be known as 'Little Studley'. The bathing huts could be hired for 1 penny. The buildings becames neglected in the 1940's, and were eventually demolished in the early 1950's.
