The engine is a Merryweather steam driven pump and was drawn by a converted brake. The car had a container to hold gas during petrol rationing. Image taken at the Old Drill Hall, Firby Lane. Mr Thorpe was the Captain of the fire brigade at the time. Also see E7306.
